In-12, full basane, gilt roulette frame on covers, rubbed copy with split jaws, blunt corners and missing spine (contemporary binding). 195 pp. First edition (the second one appeared in 1804), description of bull racing in chapter XLV pp. 180-183, it talks about the death of Pepe Hillo (1797). Copy countersigned by the author in the margin of the warning. Not in Pertus; Fouché Delbosc 206. Attached: A 4-page in-4° FASCIC for "el primer centenario de la muerte de Pepe-Illo (1801-1901)". Beautiful etching of the "cogida mortal del torero". An old manuscript leaflet about his death is attached.
