Inside cover, title page and printed sheet of dedication to L. Mazzantini are missing - without affecting the text - in the lower right corner. They have each been reassembled (from the period) on a sheet reconstructing the entire page. The last page is stained. "(...) perhaps the clearest and most practical treatise ever published in the Castilian language. The author had founded a bullfighting school in Bilbao (...). The book - which may be difficult to obtain today - is particularly well suited to both the aficionado and the young bullfighter. (...) the horse and the toro are studied in detail and separately. We learn how beginners should dress for the plaza. This is curious information; it cannot be found elsewhere.
