FAN FOLDED ON ALMOND GREEN SILK. Beech wood strands and plumes finely carved with Moorish decorations . San Sebastian, D. Lambea Serra, [c. 1860]... On the face a superb gouache-painted scene enhanced with golden sequins. It depicts a bullfighter and a picador admiring a carmencita dancing with its fan, and another scene with two bullfighters facing a bull. The rivet is made of iron closed with mother-of-pearl rings... Green leather label of the manufacturer (Lambea Serra) on the reverse side . Beautiful fan of 35 x 66 cm...
