STUDY FOR A BULLFIGHT. Paris], s.e., [1972]. Beautiful lithographed poster in colors of 43,5 x 59 cm. Slight wetness in the upper left corner. Traces of thumbtacks on the four corners. Reproduction. It represents the convolutions of a muleta pass during the faena. Poster made for the Grand Palais exhibition in 1972. The banner is missing. Francis Bacon (1909-1992), painter of violence is haunted by the verse of Aeschylus "the smell of human blood, does not leave my eyes. For his bullfighting paintings, he was greatly influenced by Michel Leiris and by Picasso.
