Image: 23 x 24 cm; sheet: 27.9 x 35.6 cm. Brigitte Grignet (Belgian, born 1968), practices a personal and emotional documentary photography. She studied photography at the ICP in New York, where she lived for fifteen years. Recipient of numerous awards, exhibited in several galleries and museums, she worked with Mary Ellen Mark for ten years. Her images have been exhibited internationally and are part of the collections of the Kyosato Museum of Photography, the Museum of Photography in Charleroi, the Portland Art Museum, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, among others. Among the prints offered at this sale, the photograph in Chile was taken during the author's very first trip as a photographer.
