Ricard Terré (Spanish, 1928-2009) is particularly famous for his photographs of Catholic processions. After taking courses at the School of Advanced Economic Studies, he entered the world of the arts as a painter and caricaturist and began to practice photography in 1955, when he met the members of the Photographic Society of Catalonia. His works are part of major international collections, such as the Folkwang Museum in Essen, the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, the National Library of France and the Houston Museum of Art.
