Bull fighting. Twelve subjects drawn from nature - Corrida de toros. Paris, Bulla & Aumont, [ca 1830]. An oblong folio album, half plum sorrow of the time, title struck in gold on the first course. Engraved title and 12 large bullfighting lithographs in black. Victor Adam (Paris 1801-1866), made his first lithographic works in 1824, and,,this suite about ten years later at the printer Lemercier, Bonnard et Cie; the prints correspond to Carnicero's series although his lithographic technique shows a greater agility in the drawing and an ingenious framing added by the artist makes the prints stand out. El siglo de oro de las tauromaquias. Estampas taurinas p. 96. Knitter 156 Pertus 18, heavily rubbed back, headdresses torn off. But very good condition inside.
