Agnès Propeck (French, born 1962) is a visual artist, photographer and teacher at the Penninghen School of Graphic Arts in Paris. Her photography is constituted around a work on the past, present and future meanings of the objects she chooses to photograph. She constructs her images around subtle, sober or moving settings. Her works are exhibited in France and abroad and several of her photographs have already joined important French and foreign collections. The present print and the contact sheet that accompanies it show her talent, both playful and poetic, for playing with the correspondence between a word, an expression and its photographic representation.
