Image: 17.5 x 21.5 cm; mount: 28 x 37 cm Another print of this image is in the Getty Museum, Los Angeles. Egerton was Deputy Commissioner in Kangra in 1861. He led an expedition from Dharmsala, through Spiti where the population is largely Tibetan. The route was used by wool traders from Tibet.
