Panoramic photographs. 2 albumin prints mounted on cardboard, located under the image, mention "Garcia Phot. à Genève" in the lower right corner under the image.13,5 x 40 cm ; montage : 21 x 50 cm Associated from 1845 and until 1854 with the photographer Auguste Meylan, Garcin leads an activity of itinerant daguerreotypist. In 1860, he was awarded a prize by the Société des Arts (2nd prize of the commission of artistic archaeology) as well as in 1867 and in 1878 at the Universal Exhibitions in Paris (bronze and silver medals). He exhibited his landscapes of Switzerland and Savoy in Paris during the exhibition organized by the French Society of Photography in 1870.
