François Porcile Collection
François Porcile is a film director and historian, born in Paris on March 3, 1944. He has made over 150 films, shorts and features, fictions and documentaries, for cinema and television, including two with Robert Doisneau.
- 1972: "Le Paris de Robert Doisneau", which won the Short Film Prize at the Colombo Film Festival.
- 1981: "Robert Doisneau, badaud de Paris, pêcheur d'images".
For these two films, François Porcile and Robert Doisneau selected a series of prints, all made by the photographer at his home in Montrouge. The photographs are marked with the negative reference, written by Robert Doisneau, in the center and, for those used in the films, with a number inscribed in a corner by François Porcile.
