In 1946, Arden-Quin defined the precepts governing the MADI manifesto, of which he was a founder: 1. Ban all interference with the phenomena of expression, representation and meaning. 2. MADI drawing is an arrangement of points and lines on a surface that can create a form or a relationship of planes. 3. MADI painting: color and two-dimensionality. Flat polygonal structure. Curved, concave or convex convex. Our painting, historic for its creation date (1948), corresponds to the year in which Arden-Quin moved to Paris.
