The work is taken from the 1995 portfolio "Lindencorso Kunstprojekt", which included 17 original offset lithographs. "Lindencorso" refers to the new Franco-German shopping and cultural center of the same name in Berlin. On the initiative of Cologne artist Stefan Szczesny, 9 French and 9 German artists designed a collection of banners.
Each banner temporarily adorned the facades of the scaffolding during construction of the center. Once Lindercorso was completed, the works were exhibited or offered for sale. The trial proofs designed for the projects were all printed in offset lithography and collected in a portfolio, "Lindencorso Kunstprojekt".
A deluxe edition of this art book was printed in 100 copies, with each work signed and numbered by hand. Please note that we only sell this plate, NOT the complete portfolio.
Printed by Fries, Cologne.
