REMBRANDT Van Rijn, dit Rembrandt (1606-1669) Rembrandt Van Rijn, known as Rembrandt (after) Haring, the young, c. 1870 Heliogravure on Vergé paper, after Rembrandt's etching of 1655 (referenced in Bartsch #275; Claussin #272; Wilson #277; Ch. Blanc #179). Stamped in red ink by Charles Amand-Durand on the back. Dimensions: + Sheet size: 22 x 16 cm / 8.6 x 6.2 in. + Image size: 19.5 x 15 cm / 7.6 x 5.9 in. Condition: In good condition, with a few handling creases and minor stains in the margins. A few light white spots on the right side of the image. A few minor edge tears, with no impact on the print; and a few pieces of tape on the back, NOT visible from the front. Otherwise well inked, with very detailed lines. Engraving by Charles Amand-Durand. The original engraving is referenced in Bartsch #275; Claussin #272; Wilson #277; Ch. Blanc #179. A fine impression after Rembrandt!
