ROBIDA Albert (1848-1926) Albert Robida (1848-1926) Reims, 1914 Lithograph on Vellum paper. Hand-signed and dedicated in the lower left margin. Signed on the plate at upper right. "Remark" in the lower right-hand corner. Dimensions: + Sheet size: 47 x 32 cm / 18.5 x 12.5 in. + Image size: 31 x 21.5 cm / 12.2 x 8.4 in. Condition: In very good condition, with a few handling creases and minor stains to edges. A few adhesive remnants on the back, NOT visible from the front. Image otherwise very clean; well inked. From Albert Robida's "Les Villes martyres" series, depicting French towns martyred during World War I, including Reims, Louvain, Senlis, Malines, Arras, Termonde, Soissons and Ypres. Please note that we are only selling this plate, NOT the complete portfolio.
