Menu for the December 19 banquet of the friends of Louis Jou, Restaurant Lapérouse, 1927". Menu with a drawing by Van Dongen, printed on Montval paper, offered by M. Gaspard Maillol. It was created for the friends of Louis Jou who attended the banquet on December 19, 1927. The banquet, held at the Lapérouse restaurant, was presided over by Louis Barthou. Each menu is personalized, this one for Mr. Perez-Jorba. Signed in the plate, lower left. Text printed in French inside the menu. -Portrait of Louis Jou by G. Mornay, 1923: Lithograph on BFK Rives paper. Signed and dedicated in the plate "A mon ami Jou - G. Mornay 1923" lower left. With BFK watermark in lower left margin. Condition: -Menu: in good overall condition with several spots of discoloration on the margins and a minor crease on the lower left edge. Some traces of moisture inside the menu. - Lithograph: in overall good condition with a few notable stains in the lower margin. Image otherwise very clean.
