MAGNELLI Alberto (1888-1971) Alberto Magnelli (1888-1971) Composition, 1967 Original linocut on wove paper. Signed by hand in the lower right margin. Numbered 60/100 in the lower left-hand corner. Dimensions: + Sheet size: 22 x 17 cm / 8.6 x 6.6 in. + Image size: 21 x 16 cm / 8.2 x 6.2 in. Condition : In very good condition, with a few handling creases and minor printing marks on the edges. The image is otherwise very clean, with bright, vivid colors. From the continuation of the exhibition catalog published on the occasion of the exhibition from November 5, 1966 to January 31, 1967 at the Erker Gallery, St. Gallen. Called "Hommage à Hans Arp", the suite includes 14 original lithographs, etchings and linocuts, all hand-signed and numbered by Max Bill, Camille Bryen, Piero Dorazio, Hans Hartung, Bernhard Heiliger, Marcel Janco, Asger Jorn, Alberto Magnelli, Robert Motherwell, Giuseppe Santomaso, Michel Seuphor, Antoni Tàpies, Fritz Wotruba and Ossip Zadkine.
