"Stockings that stand on their own! Last night, at the home of the great Parisian couturier, Louis Féraud, a brand-new stocking was presented. The special features of these "in-the-wind" stockings are that there's no longer any need for a garter belt, as an elastic band is incorporated into the stocking to hold it securely in place. What's more, they don't wrinkle and ride up very high, thanks to the elasticity of the stocking. Here are three Louis Féraud models showing "dans le vent" stockings, ca. 1966.
