Christie's has announced that it will auction the wardrobe and jewelry box of "Coco" Chanel, the famous French designer who died in 1971 at the age of 87, on Saturday, December 2. Two dresses from the Chanel wardrobe will be auctioned. In the center, Madame Lilian Grumbach, a close collaborator of Madame Chanel, assembled the dresses and jewelry for the sale." Photograph.
