Steichen Edward Carnet mondain - The Condé Nast years 1923-1937. He worked on contemporary culture, politics, literature, film, sport, dance, theater, opera and haute couture (Gloria Swanson, Gary Cooper, Greta Garbo, and Charlie Chaplin...) The photographs of the 1920s and 1930s represent the high point of Steichen's career, and are among the most striking creations of twentieth-century photography. Text in French. Published in 2008 by Thames & Hudson. The book is bound in new, original shrink-wrapped paper.
