"Club Ruined ? - New-York...Not only is the ball knocked out of the true for a fraction of a second when the ball is swatted, but the club, too, is distorted by the impact. This is clearly proven by the ultra-rapid photo, made in the research laboratory of Spalding Bross. The interval between each of the photos that make up this unusual design is 1/600 of a second. The laboratory is in New-York City", December 7, 1938.
