KEYSTONE - DANCE - Lot 31
KEYSTONE - DANCE
"The fan dance. The "fan dance", an original choreographic number performed by some very pretty girls, was a big hit with Miami winter visitors. The dancers performed without veils, cleverly concealing their nudity behind fans. But the morally upright governor of Florida has just demanded that the act be performed...in swimsuits. So much for fans of the nude. Girls performing the "fan dance", 1935.
Photograph. Vintage silver print, stamp and label with handwritten caption on back. Corner of print burned.
