"Light does not affect the sphericity of a bowl any differently than that of a breast. The shadow of a column is projected onto a given plane as would be the shadow of a tree trunk. The pustular skin of a toad shapes itself under the sun like lunar protuberances. There is no special, conventional way of lighting a nude or any other object. If one photographer excels in portraiture and another in still life, it's because of their predilection, but it's not the difference in subjects that determines the difference in techniques. In short, you can't photograph a nude any differently than anything else". Emmanuel Sougez
