JEANLOUP SIEFF 1933-2000 Cambré, 1985. Photograph. Posterior silver print, author's stamp on back. Image: 30 x 19.7 cm; sheet: 39.7 x 29.7 cm "Jeanloup Sieff was my idol; I was fascinated by all the images he produced, which I discovered in the new magazinePhotocré by Roger Thérond. As the years went by, I had the pleasure of meeting Barbara Rix-Sieff at the home of Françoise de Panafieu, mayor of the 17th arrondissement, for an exhibition on the façade of her town hall. And then the joy of climbing the steps of the mythical studio on rue Ampère, to choose with Barbara and Bruno Baudry the most beautiful photos to be presented in 2007 in Arles for the festival du nu."
