18K (750/oo) yellow gold brooch featuring a sword, the pommel set with a possibly fine olive pearl, surmounted by an insect (Scarab beetle?, small missing legs and antennae), the thorax set with rose-cut diamonds on silver (800/oo), the eyes with red stone cabochons and the elytra with labradorite. Length: approx. 50 mm. Old reassembly, traces of tin soldering. Late 19th century. Gross weight: 5.8 g.
