D'Agata Antoine L'image d'après, le cinema dans l'imaginaire de la photographie. Steidl, 2007. The question at the heart of this exhibition is this: between Photography and Cinema, is there an in-between, an imaginary and uncertain zone where photos and shots can co-exist, touch, measure and, why not, compete, practicing a kind of incestuous aesthetic relationship? (...) This is the challenge taken up by this exhibition: L'Image d'après, conceived on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of Magnum Photos. Ten photographers were asked the question. What, in the imaginations of these ten contemporary photographers, would have to do with cinema, with the experience of cinema? Published on the occasion of the exhibition presented by the Cinémathèque française in Paris, from April 4 to July 30, 2007. Black half cloth, illustrated boards, black edges, 28.5 x 22 cm. Signed by photographer Antoine D'agata (24 pages concerning him in this collective publication).
