BOATS - KEYSTONE - Lot 13

BOATS - KEYSTONE "No Mans Land" - A yacht crewed entirely by women. Fifteen Broadway girls make up the crew of this yacht, where no men are allowed to wear pants. From the cabin boy to the captain, none other than the famous movie star Rita Rocye, all the "men" in the crew belong to the so-called weaker sex, not so much if you believe that they're coming to Europe on a boat set up especially for them, and driven by them alone. In any case, they go about their hard work with all the skill of old sea dogs. Crew members maneuvering the ropes without vertigo", ca. 1930. Photograph.
