YVES SAINT LAURENT - KEYSTONE "Yves Mathieu Saint Laurent to open his own couture house. Yves Mathieu Saint Laurent, who succeeded Christian Dior after the great couturier's death, will open his own couture house on December 13. He plans to present his first collection on January 5. In the meantime, Yves Mathieu has set up his headquarters in a small apartment on rue La Boëtie. He hasn't yet chosen a financier for his future house, and he doesn't pretend to run a business as large as Dior. (Yves Saint Laurent, it will be recalled, did not return to Dior after his discharge, having been replaced by Marc Bohan).
