DADA - Lot 30
DADA "Dada in Paris"; Flammarion, 1993; 732 pages. Paperback; first edition; text by Michel Sanouillet. The Dada movement, founded in Zurich in 1915, reached its peak in Paris between 1919 and 1923. It was a brief period, but one marked by numerous provocative publications, events, and exhibitions, as well as the involvement of André Breton, Paul Éluard, and Philippe Soupault—representatives of a less activist and less spontaneous tendency that would eventually lead to Surrealism. This book is based on Michel Sanouillet’s doctoral dissertation and draws on exclusive, firsthand documents. In-4 (24 x 15 cm) Very slight discoloration on the spine.
