References: Cramer 253 Black creature-like figures dance against a scratched-up vermilion background amid words in pencil— “Aimé,” “MAEGHT,” “eagle,” “butterfly,” “sweet”—the letters themselves swept up in the swarm of figures. Miró makes the dedication the image itself, a farewell in his pictographic alphabet to the dealer who had been exhibiting his work since 1948. Published in the final, commemorative issue of *Derrière le Miroir*.
