Dimensions:
Sheet: 41 × 30 cm (16 × 12 in.)
Condition: very good overall condition, with some soiling, discoloration, and minor losses due to the paper’s aging. The cover image remains very clean, with vivid colors and the gold printing intact. Unframed.
We are offering only the cover, not the complete magazine.
Printed by Paul Dupont, Paris, 1898.
Mucha designed four different covers for *Au Quartier Latin*, published annually during the Mid-Lent carnival season. In this issue, he depicts a parade of students at the feet of the Queen of the Carnival, crowned and clad in a ceremonial cloak adorned with the coat of arms of Paris.
