Silver oille pot (or Soupière), the lid in the shape of a cabbage, the molded edge, the handles with leaves, standing on four feet decorated with rows of piastres. With the coat of arms in relief of Michel Joseph de Coeurderoy, Marquis d'Aulnois (1738-1800), counsellor at the Parliament of Burgundy, received on June 16, 1758, 1st President of the Sovereign Court of Lorraine in 1767. Chamber of Accounts of Lorraine, 1765-1771 (hallmark of the Master of the Master Claude Léopold BARILLY, received Master in 1737). Goldsmith : Joseph BARDE, received Master in Nancy in 1749 (frétel not punched).weight : 3750 g Height. 25 cm Diam. 24,5 cm Length to the handles : 33 cm. (2 leaves refixed) Note : Michel Joseph de Coeurderoy marries on September 23, 1760 in Sornéville Louise Françoise Renée Baudouin de Pléneuf (1742-1781).. but curiously its coats of arms do not seem to correspond to those accoladed on our tureen..
